CALL FOR SUBMISSIONS

 for Voices Literary Journal 

The literary magazine VOICES of the Modern Languages Department of Pace University would like to announce a call for submissions.

Literary Submissions

We will accept original texts of poetry, fiction, non-fiction, drama, essays and hybrid texts in the following languages: Arabic, Chinese, French, Japanese, Italian, Russian and Spanish.  The maximum length is ten pages.  Documents must be submitted in Times New Roman font, 12 pt. 1.5 spacing, format.doc or .docx.

All foreign language entries must be accompanied by a 100-word summary and/or abstract in English. The submission should include an English translation of the title of the work. The genre needs to be specified (i.e. poetry, short story, etc.)

Media Submissions

Media submissions including videos, photos, clips of performances, etc. will be accepted.

Format: jpg; mp4

Please send all text and media submissions to molblog@pace.edu

Attach a brief (50-word) author biography (written in third person) and photo (.jpg).

The submission will be accepted and reviewed by the Editorial Board between February 15th  through May 15th. Notification of acceptance will be sent via-email on or before September 15th. Please be advised that all work must be original and open to editorial revisions. Additionally, submissions of work (texts, images and media) presuppose authorization to publish in Voices.

VOICES will be published in Fall.
